I work in retail so I meet many. Should I correct those who are racist?

My doubt is high that racists are correctable. As far as tolerating inconsiderate costumers that do not replace items to their original shelves, I guess that's the job, allowing people to be free of concern. You are a salesperson right? That's psychology with the end of product sale as its purpose. As a renter of labor to the owner its your product to produce receptive clients to purchase product. Defend but do not attempt correction, that's not your contracted agreement. You can make some of the people happy some of the time, but you can not make enemies happy with each other all of the time.
