What do you think about a lecturer who seems to dissaprove, look down on you for being a shy person who?

doesn't speak out in cl but instead if I have a query, I put it to him, after cl as I am more comfortable this way?I don't like being all 'out there' in the fray of things and I feel like very pompous when I do so anyway. I hate the self importance of people and their 'opinions' so I prefer to be modest and speak afterwards..
