speak is about a girl who gets d at a summer party and is rendered mute by it. Everyone in her school hates her because she called the cops and they dont know what really happened. By the end of the book she finally stands up for her self and fights back when andy evans (the rapist) attempts to again. She has a huge breakthrough and has a complete realization and new attitude and accepts what had happened. ineed a song that shows her break through to play during the credits of my own reenactment of the book.... thank you!
